CCUAB — Christian Colleges & Universities Accreditation Board

Accreditation

A Practical, Faith-Based Approach to Accreditation

At CCUAB, we believe that Christian accreditation should be accessible, purposeful, and free from unnecessary bureaucracy. Our process is designed to affirm faith-based institutions while allowing them to focus on their mission.

Core Accreditation Categories

Institutions are asked to respond to the following categories using written descriptions and simple checkbox/dropdown selections — no document uploads are required. We welcome both newly formed and established colleges, universities, seminaries, and Bible schools committed to spiritual formation and academic excellence.

A Streamlined Application Experience

CCUAB's application process is simple by design. Applicants will:

  • Answer brief narrative questions
  • Check boxes or choose from dropdown options to verify key practices
  • Submit responses directly through our secure online form — no uploads required

Accreditation Outcomes

After review, institutions may be granted one of the following:

  • Provisional Accreditation (1 Year) — for institutions in operation for less than one year.
  • Full Accreditation (1 Year) — for institutions in operation for more than one year that meet all criteria.

All accredited institutions are added to our official Directory of Accredited Institutions and receive a digital accreditation certificate. Accreditation is valid for one year and may be renewed annually through a simplified renewal form and payment.

We encourage institutions of all sizes to take the next step. Our process is built to support your mission — not complicate it.
