Accreditation Standards

A Practical, Faith-Based Approach to Accreditation

At CCUAB, we believe that accreditation should empower—not burden—Christian institutions. Our standards are designed to affirm spiritual identity, academic integrity, and operational soundness without unnecessary bureaucracy. Whether you’re a newly founded Bible college or a well-established seminary, we offer a pathway to recognition that honors your calling and supports your future.

We assess institutions through a mission-aligned, principle-driven framework that reflects both biblical values and time-tested academic expectations. Our process is streamlined, accessible, and built to highlight the unique strengths of faith-based education.

Core Accreditation Categories

Institutions are asked to respond to the following categories using written descriptions and simple checkbox/dropdown selections—no document uploads are required.

Faith-Based Mission & Identity

Institutions must demonstrate a Christ-centered mission, integration of a biblical worldview throughout academic and operational practices, and provide a clear statement of faith or guiding doctrinal principles.

Academic Quality & Curriculum

Accredited institutions offer programs aligned with their mission, employ qualified faculty with academic or ministry experience, and maintain effective systems for student learning outcomes and assessment.

Governance & Leadership

Applicants must show a defined leadership structure, documented policies for institutional oversight, and a forward-looking vision for growth and sustainability.

Institutional Operations

Standards include ethical and transparent practices for admissions, tuition, grading, and student support, as well as clear procedures for issuing transcripts, diplomas, or certificates.

Legal Standing & Compliance

Institutions must confirm their legal registration, demonstrate compliance with applicable religious exemption laws, and provide accurate institutional contact and verification information.

What Accreditation Includes

CCUAB’s evaluation covers five foundational categories, each assessed through a guided online form using checkboxes, dropdowns, and brief written responses—no document uploads required. Upon approval, institutions receive a formal digital certificate of accreditation, customized with the institution’s name and the CCUAB seal. This certificate affirms your status as an accredited Christian institution committed to truth, faith, and excellence. All accredited institutions are also listed in the CCUAB Directory of Accredited Institutions.
